What will you do?

  • Discover the famous, unique, and mysterious Paracas geoglyph known as The Candelabro.
  • Watch the playful sea lions and friendly Humboldt penguins living on the Ballestas Islands.
  • Sail around rock formations and marvel at the many different types of birds that call the islands home.

En detalle

Your adventure on the Paracas coast begins at the port on El Chaco beach in the morning and then ventures into the open blue waters of the ocean. The first stop on the tour is the famous El Candelabro, a prehistoric geoglyph on the north face of the Paracas Peninsula in Pisco Bay. Admire the imposing figure against the landscape and learn more about the history of the geoglyph thanks to your tour guide.

The boat then sails toward the Ballestas Islands, a collection of islets with rich biodiversity that is home to a huge variety of protected and endangered animals and birds. From the boat, admire these beautiful islands and learn about the numerous marine species they host, including the curious Humboldt penguins, playful sea lions, and lush, colorful birds.

Visitors to the islands cannot go ashore because it is a protected natural area, but there is plenty of time to see everything these islands have to offer from the comfort of the boat.
